-Unfezant with the bright leaf pile and forest backdrop--perfect autumn image
-Luvdisc: two almost kissing, diagonal across shimmering turquoise water backdrop...smoochy fish. Pokemon Fancy magazine cover right there
-Mareanie on the hot pink/turquoise coral shelves on the vibrant reef, especially with its best Corsola pals...just look so good despite not being able to get too close...the whole aquatic areas are freaking loaded with excellent shots. And the vivid colors, the perfect crystal-clear water...that is what heaven looks like, okay? That's what it's like. And always a comfy temp. x3 Some other Pokes look better in this game than they normally do thanks to enhanced colors or some kind of cool rendering.

Beautifly wins Most In-Your-Face...so kawaii. Loves you so much it won't get out of your way. Love how Slugma ride magma-falls the way others play in water. Joe enjoyed Luxray as well--reminded him of Cain. xD A lot of the Durice ones were hard to get good pics of for one reason and another, but once you got a great shot it was really great.

Most Photogenic Pokemon in New Snap

Update: Finished out snapping everypoke in Florio+Belusylva. In the process got some weird/creepy/silly head-on Drampas, majestic Sawsbucks (incl. the one scratching its face with the hind hoof like a doggo), etc. Espeon joins the Most Photogenics with some beauteous shots. Gardevoir's too were lovely. Ninetales looked gorge, natch, but insisted on staying a mile away. ;; Applin's was plenty adequate, though there was only the one opportunity for an adequate shot. Next would be to pick up the stragglers from the remaining four lands. [Ranking them: Maricopia, Belusylva, Florio, Durice, Aurus, Voluca. I'd spend the most time in the first four. x-3]
ReplyDeleteOn another note...the "Raya" dragons, are by far the best goddamn-lookin' dragons I ever did done seen.
When you look up where/how to find a Pokemon and follow the "how to get a ****-star shot" intructions, though...it really takes all the magical realism & immersion out of it...instead of feeling like a legit NatGeo photographer out there having a blast documenting the wild and all these creatures going about their business, you just realize each one is simply programmed with four "degrees of action" and it becomes *YAWN* "Okay step one, two, three...oh fuck that shit didn't work, what the fuck, what a shitload of monkeyfuck, gotta go back through the whole goddamn piece of shit and it's unacceptable GARBAGE that you can only submit one shot per Pokemon each go-round, like what the unrealistic fucking shit is THAT..."

Most gorgeous board=Megafruit Paradise but the Whomp Ruins with the graveyard look and waterfalls and all is great...and the Bob-omb mine one...and the gold gumball one with the Thwomp and Chomp and all...yeah I like all four. Awesumo fun game. Love love love the graphics...8''D

DeleteNow that I've used every color of Shy Guy on Teddy Buggy+Cushion and Yoshi on Wiggler+Sponge, I'm kinda...open...like if Joe'd let us switch between each course or at least each set, maybe I could rotate through all the drivers/vehicles/tires. Probably did all the gliders again already just recently here. xD Like different thins about each. o.O Teddy also looks good w/ button wheels. And pink characters probably look best as driver since pink's the only available color not featured in the atv+tire combo. 'Cept the monochromatics. The Prancer is neat (and looks especially great with Rosalina+azure roller wheel...yay seafoam! Daisy brings the yellow/orange...but Toadette or any of my faves look grand too.) Wish it were a single-horse bike though, so it'd really feel like you're racing on horseback. So I did a lot w/ that, and started a bunch of mix-and-matching and color-coordinating of several other cool vehicles and tires and favorite drivers. (Incl. the Inkling gals for, I think, the first time.) Thank Bob I write shit down or I'd be at a total loss.
The 13 color-changing cars are ridonkulous. So many perdy colors/combos/patterns.
So there's the top 3, then either hyrule or the dunes...the desert, beach, canyon, music park...dk jungle? ribbon, subway, rainbow...harbor? crossing? Somethin' else watery? Oh, of course gd Sherbet! Idk, really kind of impossible to rank or do a top ten or whatever. x-b There's something cool about all 48. Perdy ice & water are always noice...

Discovered through trying out every driver, vehicle, and part that Roy is my favorite Koopaling, thanks to his purple/yellow/red shell that coordinates so nicely with a purple/yellow or other-colored vehicle. But I srrrrrsly dig Iggy's, Ludwig's, Lemmy's, and Larry's shell-color combos too...and Morton's and Wendy's. ^w^
MK8 Rainbow Road is worst Rainbow Road...more of a space station with colorful tiles than an actual RR. The 64, DD, & Wii versions rule, and then snes (heart the rainbow Thwomps.)
