Made around 2012/13...lists of our holiday marathoning material. Easter here. (& in here + here. Peeps book collection was part of the Peep display many years, so evolved into all Easter books grouped up since that was so manageable & logical. The other occasions obviously have great books too, just no uniting Peep theme/altar/throne.)

CHRISTMAS:
*Other holidays are more minimal (Garfield's Thanksgiving+Peanuts+Big Paw**+Mouse on the Mayflower, Berenstains' Comic Valentine, few others)......what else? Any and all good holiday episodes & cartoons/shorts, any stuff that kinda fits but isn't a holiday movie/special...all those good ones found for each day via the HSP or ME-TV, or elsewhere... "Etc." is obviously always highly applicable.
**Pound Puppies have their version as well and come to think of it that should be in the "dog movies" comment list, but alas comments ain't editable, and it's not really worth deleting and redoing...
Eeee, it just makes me gush...x''-} So many beloved characters and films/series/memories...not to mention the literal entirety of the Rankin/Bass filmography (way beyond holiday tales!) *0*
ReplyDelete...and oh how I love old-timey spooky radio/movies/TV and horror anthologies...x-33

Possibly:
'Twas the Night
The Ultimate Christmas Present
Mickey & Minnie Wish Upon a Christmas
Ice Age: A Mammoth Christmas
Prep & Landing
(I have Richie Rich's Christmas Wish on VHS but oh boy, is it horrible...xD And where tf is the masterpiece JINGLE ALL THE WAY? The "sequel" is rather ho-hum and has no connection to the original aside from the "hard-to-get toy" plot.)
#25DaysOfChristmas, like almost everything, used to be so much better. At least one day of almost every Rankin/Bass special. (Thank goodness I recorded those onto VHS.) Stuff like Cranberry Christmas, the Eloise Plaza/Christmastime movies that impossibly aren't on IMDb...PE frequently ofc (grew on me a bit over the years)...
ReplyDeleteNote-to-self re: where best to find holiday/seasonal shite (esp Xmas, Halloween, Easter):
ReplyDelete-relevant Flickr albums/sections/photos/vids (michellekti's season/holiday album, gardening...poodiedogge's IG album, peepage...)
-each year's GoogDrive folder/videos+OneDrive ofc starting 2o18 (all linked @ the "hella important" 1/1/19 entry here+its comments; 1D's "hollydaze")
-freakin' yt videos (mostly horrible but still awesome)
-relevant instas esp back to 4/2020
-anything on their pinboards
-tweets not covered by the above {and ofc the infinitude of Photobucket/memcards+all else on backup drives+Sheriff ECSO+2 other USBs, non-digital film photos/home movies, anything on cd or floppy, etc.}
